They have lived in the house `I Mandorli´ for the last 20 years and their two children were born there.
Marco and Marina left their secure jobs in the city at the end of the 70´s. (He was a programmer with Olivetti, she was a journalist). They made their dream come true of a life in close touch with nature and a more natural rhythm of life. From the start they have worked their farm with the
love and care of self-taught beginners, without ever using pesticides or other forms of chemical pest control. They produce small quantities of wine and olive oil which they sell to friends.
Marco has completed his studies at Siena University and been awarded a diploma in the history of art which gives him an even more founded base for his passion as an antiques dealer. Since his arrival in Tuscany, he has had
stands at the antiques markets in Arezzo (the oldest monthly market in Italy), Bologna und Lucca. The couple has a second estate in nearby Tuoro above Lake Trasimeno. They live there now in the house `Tiravento´ while their son and daughter are at university. They have restored the old family seat `Mandorli´ and let it out to guests.
